"With the entry into force of the Act of June 7 2000, No. 150, and the enactment of the Implementing Regulation of 21 September 2001, No. 422, public authorities have a vital new tool to develop their relations with citizens, strengthen and harmonize the flow of information to their Internal and contribute to upholding the right of citizens to communicate effectively.
"The public communication ceases to be an additional and residual segment of the government, and became an integral part, as is the case for decades with companies that act in the market for products and services. Law June 7, 2000 No 150 "Regulations on the activities of information and communication of the government" expects that the activities of information and communication of public administration are in particular aimed at:
- to explain and promote awareness of legal provisions in order to facilitate implementation;
- to explain the activities of institutions and their functioning;
- facilitating access to public services, promoting knowledge
- to promote wider and deeper knowledge on topics of public interest and social
- encouraging internal processes to simplify procedures and modernization of equipment and knowledge launch and location of the administrative proceedings;
- promote the image of government as well as that of Italy, Europe and worldwide, giving visibility to knowledge and events of local importance, regional, national and international level.
In that context, places the "Program of Communication of the Ministry of Defence, framework Conceptual to develop coherent, coordinated and synergistic activities of Information and Communication Ministry.
