Since March 27, 2010 is now possible to load the bikes on the Metro Torino!
So said hundreds of posters with GTT logo (actually a keen eye for the logo was a bit 'modified) in subway stations in Turin a few months ago. Unfortunately, the signs were a hoax and it seems that the Turin metropolitan area is destined to remain still the only one in the civilized world not to allow access to bicycles.
It was a hoax staged by a media activist group to attract some attention to the problem and suggest a possible solution.
The news was promptly denied by the newspapers that have been limited to defining practical jokers and ultra bicycle proponents of the initiative. We, however, we congratulate these courageous imitators of Luther Blissett, hoping to see them again some other action.
